Experience:
I have more than ten years experience working in educational environments, both higher education, government, and corporate. This experience includes technical training, faculty development, and field training. I transitioned to freelance and consulting work two years ago and now I focus primarily on graphic redesign work, branding consistency, course usability/accessibility, and team training.
Corporate:
I have provided instructional and graphic design work for telecommunication, insurance, pharmacy, and retail organizations to include support for technical training, product sales, onboarding, and compliance. I am trained in testing and evaluation for usability and 508 compliance and have provided evaluation, remediation, and training in these areas for corporate L&D departments.
Higher Education:
I started out 15 years ago working on accessibility issues in a university archive. I went on to become an Instructional Designer for Medical School and Graduate Nursing Programs in the U.S, focusing on clinical simulation and faculty development.
